Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition of the complete human body. The blend of power and freedom training improves posture, decreases stress and crea tes long, slim muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle tissue group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and everyday task.

Beginner Class: Start with the basics of the pad work. In this class you'll discover the fundamental series of exercises upon which the entire Pilates method is built. The hefty focus on abdominal strengthening is a necessity at every fitness level.
 
Intermediate Class: Pilates Intermediate reviews the basics of beginner class while moving on to the much more difficult exercises and repertoire. Discover the cadence and rhythm of a more aerobic pad. This course is created for experienced Pilate’s students.
 
Advanced Class: This fast-paced course will work toward the full advanced Pilates repertoire with a keen attention toward precision, efficiency and body understanding. Strong earlier mat experience is required before coming to this level.

Pilates San Diego is a body conditioning routine that builds flexibility, muscle strength (making muscles lean and elongated, not “bulking up”), and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, his, and back.  It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates San Diego system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty, from beginner to advanced.  Clients can proceed at their individual pace, and intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.
